Information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, phone number, and billing address when you create an account or place a booking
• Payment information (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) processed securely through Stripe — we never store your full card number on our servers
• Pickup and drop-off locations, travel preferences, and special requests
• Email address when you join our app waitlist
• Corporate account details including company name, billing contacts, and authorized travelers
• Communications you send us via email, phone, or in-app messaging

Information collected automatically:

• Device information (browser type, operating system, device model)
• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral sources
• GPS location data when using our mobile app (with your permission) for ride tracking and dispatch

• Payment confirmation and fraud screening data from Stripe

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Affiliate chauffeurs: We share your name, pickup/drop-off locations, phone number, and trip details with the chauffeur assigned to your ride so they can complete the service
• Payment processor: Stripe processes all payment transactions — their use of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
• Communication services: Twilio and email providers deliver booking confirmations and trip notifications on our behalf
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

5. Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification in the payment industry. Your card details are encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe's servers. Umbra Mobility never stores, processes, or has access to your full credit card number.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking records and payment history are retained for seven years for tax and legal compliance. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or the waitlist program ends. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.

7. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies necessary for site functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and controls.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Withdraw consent for location tracking in our mobile app

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
